Relaxed Beach Style

Today's post is a continuation of yesterday's stunning home tour.
One of my favourite elements of this home are the picture perfect vignettes ~ natural corals and glass vessels sit beside
textured, earthy ceramics and designer tomes. Art sourced from
Signature on Hastings in Noosa includes contemporary abstract paintings
by local artist Isabel Lawrence alongside shell studies by Jos Law and
intricate etchings by Robyn Rayner. My home also features a few pieces of Jos Law's shell art which I love. If you are lucky enough to visit Noosa pop into 'Signature on Hastings' it is a treasure trove of beautiful things for beach house decorating. I am like a kid in a candy store in that shop!
Other enviable elements are the hand stained, limewashed American Oak floorboards, the lush tropical garden, the huge backyard for their kids to run around in and the veggie patch. Kate's four boys make good use of the pool and oversized garden. Kate loves nothing more than to sit in the garden on a Adirondack chair, cool drink in hand, watching the boys play games, swim and run free. It’s a home that has
captured that sought after Gold Coast lifestyle – a beautiful escape where both parents and kids have
the space to laugh, play and relax.
